Programme Educational Objectives

  • To prepare civil engineering graduates well equipped with knowledge, skills, and proficiencies to function as a society centric professionals in different capabilities and roles.
  • To inculcate life-long learning attitude, leadership, resource management ability, team spirit and moral values for socio-economic and sustainable development with environmental sensitivity in civil engineering graduates.
  • To provide opportunities, knowledge, skills and attitude required to pursue higher studies, research and/or entrepreneurship in civil engineering graduates.

Programme Specific Outcomes

  • PSO-1: To prepare civil engineering graduates to apply fundamental principles, prescribed methodologies and modern tools in planning, analyzing, designing and constructing various Civil Engineering systems.
  • PSO-2: To impart technical knowhow among civil engineering graduates to develop civil engineering structures incorporating safety, public health and environmental sustainability issues.
  • PSO-3: To cultivate skills for continuous learning to achieve functionally efficient and cost-effective solutions to modern infrastructure development.
